Cilewent Farmhouse, St Fagans

Perhaps this is the closest building at St Fagans to my own blueprint. My Williams ancestors were shepherds on the Foel hills of north Radnorshire, not so very far from where Cilewent originally stood at Cwmteuddwr.
I remember visiting it as a small child and being fascinated that the cows lived on one side of the wall and the family on the other. I thought that sounded rather wonderful.
Perhaps some places feel familiar long before we understand why.
